Recovery

Aftercare guidelines

To protect your results and minimise side effects:

→Avoid pressure, kissing or manipulation for 24 hours
→Lips will swell — this peaks at 24–48 hours and settles within a week
→Avoid very hot food and drinks for 24 hours
→Skip salty foods and alcohol which increase swelling
→Do not judge results for at least 2 weeks until fully settled

For a natural result, usually 0.5–1ml. We always start conservatively — it's easier to add than to remove.

Some swelling and possible bruising for 2–5 days. Lips tend to swell more than other areas but settle beautifully.

A lip flip uses Botox only and adds no volume. Lips correction may incorporate filler for shape, definition and gentle volume in addition to or instead of a flip.
